Last night The Dog House in Coleford was a Full House when local poetry group PIPs performed their prose-poetry ‘A Night at the Bardic Arms’ – thank you PIPs! – who make another appearance at the Festival on Sat 7 July with a free workshop at 10.30 am in The Main Place Coleford
And then this morning we had ‘Shelter’ author Sarah Franklin – who grew up in the Forest of Dean – talking to the Year 7 and 8s at Wyedean School about the long process of becoming an author. Great to see these young people so engaged – and here’s Sarah with some of those who have already declared they want to be writers. We can’t wait to hear and see them at future Festivals!
Lots more to come – see the full festival programme here
