Listen here for a taste of what we can expect when Fiona Stafford, author of The Long, Long Life of Trees, visits the Festival on Friday 6 July. Start with a ramble among ancient trees with Forest Verderer Ian Standing, leaving from the Arboretum carpark (Speech House Road) at 4 pm, then on for cream tea and Fiona Stafford’s ‘Tea and Trees’ at Hopewell Colliery Cafe at 5.30 pm.  The walk is free.  Fiona’s talk is £6 advance/£7 on the door, and includes the cream tea.
